Update (27th August 2021): Microsoft has revised the Windows 11 system requirements to support the Intel Core i7-7820HQ the processor used in the Surface Studio 2. So I’ve put together a list of all consumer Surface devices and their compatibility with Windows 11 based on the released system requirements. But when it comes to Surface devices, which go all the way back to 2012, some devices are not compatible with the upcoming OS. With it, Microsoft also revealed the Windows 11 system requirements, and as expected, it supports all of the modern hardware you’d expect. Windows 11 introduces a host of new features designed to help you be more productive and connect seamlessly with the people that matter to you. Microsoft announced Windows 11 this year with a new UI that’s cleaner and more intuitive to use.
